Bronte Alva Unleashes Emotion-Packed Single ‘Change Loving You’

“The maturity shown by an artist early on in their career is dazzling” The AU Review (AU)
“Bronte has been creating her own version of success” Coal Coast Magazine (AU)

Dharawal/Wollongong based singer-songwriter Bronte Alva is set to captivate listeners with her latest single, ‘Change Loving You’ - produced by Wayne Connolly (Babe Rainbow, Hoodoo Gurus, Josh Pyke) at Hercules Street Studios.

The song, set to release on Valentine's Day (February 14), is a cathartic expression of the pain that accompanies betrayal, presented through the lens of gritty guitars, dynamic drum-lines, and Bronte's raw, guttural vocals, creating a signature garage rock track. 'Change Loving You’ unfolds as a compelling narrative, balancing vulnerability and defiance. The song delves into the emotional journey of coming to terms with the harsh reality of infidelity and finding the inner strength to move forward. Rejecting the often-prescribed "no-regrets" mentality, Bronte embraces the power of acknowledging our emotions, offering an honest portrayal of personal experiences.

Bronte talks about the song:
“‘Change Loving You’ is not just a song; it's an anthem for anyone who has faced the challenges of heartbreak and somehow, through all of it, emerged stronger on the other side.” In the live scene, this song comes off the back of a whirlwind 2023, where Bronte shared the stage with renowned acts like Skegss, WAAX, DULCIE, and Dear Seattle, as well as gracing festivals such as Yours and Owls Festival, Crooked River Winter Wine Festival, Surf Life Festival and ICEBREAKER. Bronte Alva's musical background started as a classically trained pianist, inspired and drawn to playing music by Beethoven. Her influences include writers like Missy Higgins, Angie McMahon and Taylor Swift. Previous releases have been widely embraced by triple j, triple j Unearthed and Australian community radio stations such as FBi Radio, 4ZZZ, Valley FM and more.
